It works perfectly with any Arduino board, very versatile LED matrix that you can put into any of your projects or robots.
The 16×8 LED matrix is also great for making scrolling displays or small video displays. In our example, we set it up so words flow, includes the cables to easily connect to the Nano shield and all comes in a nice compact package, with holes compatible with building block toys.
The driver chip that does all the heavy lifting for you. This chip has a built in clock so they multiplex the display. It uses constant-current drivers for ultra-bright, consistent color, all via simple I2C interface.
Fully tested 128 high intensity LEDs, it has a i2C connector with cables to female Dupont connectors. Easily programmable with our Otto Blockly visual software.
